In the United States, U.S. Gain, a leading company in the development, supply and distribution of renewable natural gas (RNG), has entered into an agreement to purchase RNG based on dairy and renewable products from Brightmark Energy LLC. NEW STATE SOLICITATION: In New York State, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced, according to the American Biogas Council (ABC), the largest renewable energy ad ever in the United States, offering “an incredible financing opportunity for biogas producers who can supply power to New York State`s power grid.” The call was launched by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and the New York Power Authority (NYPA). It requires a total of 4,000 megawatts of renewable marginal power, of which 1,500 MW are for large renewable energy projects near the earth, including biogas from landfills and anaerobic fermenters. The terrestrial promotion of renewable energy is divided into two categories: projects purchased by NYSERDA and projects obtained by NYPA. NySERDA`s share provides for the development of Tier 1 renewable energy projects, which will generate 1.6 million MWh or more per year. NYPA`s appeal is limited to wind and solar projects. Any project that can be certified tier 1-renewable and commissioned after January 1, 2015 or until November 30, 2022, with the possibility of extension until November 30, 2025 to reach the kWh target, is eligible.

The following types of biogas development projects are considered Tier 1 energy sources and are therefore tailored to NYSERDA`s demand, ABC notes: the NMR is the fastest way to reduce transportation emissions in the regions that need it most. U.S. Gain is rapidly expanding its NGR portfolio through a diversified approach to taketake agreements, financial assistance and capital investments – and says it is “continuously” looking for new opportunities for project collaboration. U.S. Gain has extensive experience in regulatory programs that allow environmental credits to be seized when NRG is delivered as a transportation fuel, particularly the Federal Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) and the Oregon Clean Fuels Program (CFP). This experience combined with our relationships with the committed parties allows U.S. Gain to monetize credits at advanced values, bringing favorable returns to all project partners, said Bryan Nudelbacher, Director of Business Development at U.S. Gain. 1) Application for authorization of participation after Stage 1: a qualifying step by which the applicant must prove that the Bid-Fazilitet tier-1 is compatible and other general information about the candidate and the Bid Facility 2) Step 2 Tender Proposal: A competitive step of bid by which NYSERDA becomes: Senate Act 98 is the first law of its kind in the country , according to the NW RFP Natural RFP.

It sets voluntary volumetric targets for the acquisition of RNG. By 2045, the law provides for a target of 30% of the total gas delivered to NW Natural customers in Oregon to be renewable. The rules for the implementation of Senate Act 98 are established and controlled by the Oregon Public Utilities Commission, including limiting total NMR spending and the overall impact of interest on customers. “NW Natural invites RNG project owners, developers and other interested stakeholders to respond to its RFP for the provision of RNG as a bundled and unbundled product,” said Anna Chittum, Director of Renewable Resources at NW Natural. “This means that the NMR can be delivered directly by pipeline to NW Natural customers or only through a transaction for environmental attributes. This RFP seeks NGR resources from across the country, from a variety of raw materials and includes renewable hydrogen resources.
