Full-Color Sandstone

We can print complex, large models in stunning full color (and plain white too).

Our “Full Color Sandstone” material is a gypsum based powder, similar to plaster. The color is applied by the printer during the printing process – none of these models are painted by hand. This allows us to create beautiful presentation models, figurines, architecture models, and more.

Cost: $1.10/cubic centimeter + $10 Setup Fee

Why is there a setup fee?

For each model, there is a set amount of resources (time/ labor) that goes into manually checking the digital file, setting the file up for printing, and post processing/ packaging the 3d print.

How do we determine pricing for this material?

Besides raw material costs, there are a number of consumables for our 3d printer that are taken into account. This includes binder, print heads, waste clean up and post processing materials.

Maximum Size: 15″ x 10″ x 8″ (inches)

This is the maximum size of a 3D print in sandstone. Models must fit within this “bounding box”.

ABS Plastic

Our ABS plastic material is made using a secondary dissolvable support material.

Why is this important?

We use industrial level 3d printers for a reason. Other hobbyist model desktop printers will print a support scaffold from the primary material, which has to be removed by hand and may require sanding and leave scarring on the model.

Dissolvable support material is crucial for printing high quality models that do not need a significant amount of post processing or tough, manual cleanup. It not only allows us to print not only high resolution beautiful models, but also complex geometry that would not be possible using a prosumer-grade machine.

Color Options

Ivory, white, blue, fluorescent yellow, black, red, nectarine, olive green or gray.

Cost: $1.25/cubic centimeter + $10 Setup Fee

Why is there a setup fee? For each model, there is a set amount of resources (time/ labor) that goes into manually checking the digital file, setting the file up for printing, and post processing/ packaging the 3d print. Each model is printed on a build plate which must be replaced after each build.
Build plates must be replaced after each build, which is reflected in the setup fee.

High Resolution Resin

Our high resolution resin material is an acrylic based uv-cured resin. This material is ideal for precise prototyping and prints where surface finish is highly valued.
